This is F-111D 68-0177 pcn FV 134 'CC' last operated by the 523rd FS / 27th TFW out of Cannon AFB, NM. She was retired November 1992, scrapped 29th August 2012 at HVF West
My October 1994 tour found this F-111D 68-0137 pcn FV 142 'CC' last operated by the 523rd FS / 27th TFW out of Cannon AFB, NM. She was retired November 1992, scrapped 29th May12 at HVF West.
F-111G 68-0255 pcn FV 127 last operated by the 428th FS / 27th FW out of Cannon AFB, NM. She was retired 23rd September 1992 and when seen here two years later her 'CC' code appeared to have been painted over and all spraylat removed. Scrapped 25 Jul 2012
F-111E 68-0041 pcn FV 202 coded 'CC' last operated by the 'Buccaneers' 428th FS / 27th FW out of Cannon AFB, she was retired 22nd September 1994 so she literally had been here two weeks or so when I photographed her.
Another F-111G on this 8th October 1994 AMARC tour, she is 68-0260 pcn FV 161 also last operated by the 428th FS / 27th FW out of Cannon AFB, NM. She was retired on 8th April 1993.
Formerly an FB-111A with the 380th BW out of Plattsburgh AFB NY, this 27th TFW F-111G 68-0244 'CC' entered AMARC in July 1991. There were only 34 F-111G conversions. Photo taken October 1999
