XM655 is the youngest surviving Avro Vulcan in the United Kingdom and perhaps the closest to the final war-ready standard Vulcan B.2. She is now operated by the 655 MAPS (Maintenance & Preservation Society) and is permanently based at Wellesbourne.
She has not moved for several years now but the former Falklands "Black Buck" veteran is still a popular attraction outside Hangar 3 at the annual RAF Waddington Airshow.
The 2008 UK Airshow scene juts became much more interesting now the Delta lady has taken to the skies once again, what an awesome day, Thanks to all involved that made this day possible
She flies, after a 14 year wait XH558 finally returns to the skies, TVOC and all involved in the restoration of this magnificent machine, Thank you, the hard work paid off
Sitting in silence on the Duxford Airfield is this fabulous Vulcan. Now that she's outdoors, she offers a great opportunity to photograph her completely. What a beautiful bird.
